I made a presentation at the Charles Danforth Library in Barnard VT focusing on my memoirs, especially FOR THE CHILDREN, the story of my family's escape from Stalinist Hungary in 1956, and its relevance today given the brutal assault by Russia on Ukraine. I also touched on the two other memoirs, THE FENCERS and THE EXPO AFFAIR, both stories of defections. There were more than 40 eople in attendance and it was well-publicized by several stories in THE VERMONT STANDARD.
