As well I will be talking about FOR THE CHILDREN, the story of my own family's escape from Hungary in 1956 and immigration to Canada and THE EXPO AFFAIR, the story of three Czechoslovak girls who approached me at the world's fair in Osaka, Japan to help them defect to Canada. I will also explore how these experiences influenced my thrillers and my poetry.
