Hello, my friends: A number of things are happening: 1. Several of the poems from Extinction have been nominated for the prestigious Pushcart Prize! 2. My memoir, The Fencers has received another 5* review from READERS' FAVORITE. 4. I am doing a book talk entitled The Iron Curtain's Influences on my Life and Books at the Kimball Public Library in Randolph VT on Thursday, December. 12th at 6:00 pm. 5. I will do a similar book talk entitled Three Memoirs - Influences from behind the Iron Curtain on a Harvard Life for the Harvard Club of San Francisco on January 16, 2020, at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room on the 22nd Floor at the offices of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, Four Embarcadero Center, San Francisco, CA 94111. Publishing has accepted my short story collection, The Spinning Mind, for publication. I am waiting to find out when this new book will be released. I the meantime, I continue to work on my next poetry collection and a new novel.
